Sheila continues to be isolated, disregarding Torey's instructions. Torey continued to be frustrated and also afraid on what she might do next. But that all changed when Torey sat her down and forced her to do math. She was actually astonished on how smart she was, Sheila was smarter than the average 6yr old. So Torey would ask herself how did she learn all this after being abused and left to fend for herself? Did she teach herself how to do math and read? As I continue to read I am curious to know her journey growing up, how a tiny little girl like Sheila survive in todays harsh world and be so educated for her age.
